„Awaryjniak" Jakuba Ochnio w bielskiej Galerii Fotografii B&B
„Awaryjniak” to opowieść o przesiedleńcach do mieszkań socjalnych w Jarosławiu (woj. podkarpackie). Ludzie niejednokrotnie zmuszeni do zamieszkania w innej rzeczywistości stworzyli w niej swoistą mikrospołeczność, gdzie obcy nie jest mile widziany. Posiadanie podobnych problemów wynikających z przeszłości, jaka doprowadziła do przesiedlenia, generuje świadomość odrębności, wynikającej z miejsca zamieszkania, oraz poczucie konieczności wspólnej egzystencji. Co ciekawe „Awaryjniak” to również sporo zupełnie normalnych (w kategoriach obiegowych) rodzin, które głównie z powodów finansowych zostały zmuszone do zajęcia lokum oferowanego przez miasto. Reportaż opowiada o kilku dniach życia w swoistym getcie wytworzonym przede wszystkim przez samych mieszkańców.
Jakub Ochnio - uhonorowany tytułem Artiste FIAP (A.FIAP). Otrzymał blisko 60 nagród w krajowych i międzynarodowych konkursach m. in. srebrny medal FIAP Mersin Olba Fotoğraf Derneği MOF w Turcji; II nagroda na International Photography Awards oraz I nagroda na VII Ogólnopolskim Biennale Fotografii „Kochać człowieka”. Czlonek ZPAF. Dotychczas jego prace były publikowane na ponad 120 wystawach w Polsce, Macedonii, Serbii, Słowenii, Turcji, Chorwacji, Litwie, Czarnogórze, Argentynie, Francji Hiszpanii i USA. Finalista Grand Press Photooraz The Circle of Life (Vilnus Photo Circle). Członek Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików, Stowarzyszenia Dziennikarzy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej oraz Kolektywu Fotografów Afterimage. W centrum jego zainteresowania leży człowiek w ujęciu dokumentalnym i reportażowym. Student etnologii isocjologii (UWr) oraz dziennikarstwa i komunikacji społecznej (WSIiZ). Trzykrotny stypendysta Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego. Sekretarz Katedry Dziennikarstwa i Komunikacji Społecznej WSIiZ w Rzeszowie. Naukowo eksploruje komunikologię, semiologię oraz socjologię/antropologię wizualną. Wielokrotnie prowadził wykłady i warsztaty z reportażu, dokumentu, fotoedycji, historii fotografii oraz portretu prasowego (m.in. ze środków Ministerstwa Kultury oraz Ministerstwa Pracy). Pasjonat taternictwa jaskiniowego i żeglarstwa. Zajmował się także nurkowaniem, skokami spadochronowymi, boksem tajskim, strzelectwem bojowym i kajakarstwem. Zdobył Brązową Odznakę Ratownika Medycznego oraz ukończył kurs instruktorski europejskiej rady resuscytacji (BLS-AED)
