To kolejny przystanek na trasie tej ekspozycji, która gościła już między innymi w Zakopanem, Iławie, a nawet za granicą – w duńskim Centrum Edukacji Przyrodniczej NaturBornholm.
Wystawa organizowana jest przez Polskie Stowarzyszenie Fotograficzne „NIKONA” oraz Muzeum Górnośląskie w Bytomiu w dniach 3-20 września 2010 roku. Autorzy prezentowanych fotografii to jedenastu członków Stowarzyszenia „NIKONA”. To równocześnie czołowi fotograficy i pasjonaci fotografii przyrody - cierpliwi, konsekwentni, zakochani w świecie przyrody. Widać to na prezentowanych fotografiach. Znakomite, a często unikatowe ujęcia ukazują wiele gatunków ptaków, w tym także mało znanych. Znaleźć tu można ptaki drapieżne, wróblowate, ptactwo wodne, czaple, rybitwy oraz inne gatunki przedstawione w ich naturalnym środowisku. Warto zauważyć, że wiele z prezentowanych zdjęć jest wyjątkowych i jedynych w swoim rodzaju, wymagających od fotografa długotrwałych przygotowań w oczekiwaniu na ten właściwy moment. Konsekwencją tych perfekcyjnych przygotowań i zaangażowania jest wystawa, która dla odbiorcy jest ucztą dla zmysłów, a równocześnie świadczy o wyjątkowej wrażliwości fotografików. W gronie autorów znaleźli się: Piotr Chara, Tomasz Grześkowiak, Henryk Janowski, Michał Jastrzębski, Andrzej Jeziorowski, Jacek Kardasiewicz, Sławomir Krajniewski, Tomasz Krupienko, Tomasz Olechno, Paweł Pawlak, Waldemar Woźniak. Wystawa jest częścią Zlotu PSF Nikona „Pod ziemią” organizowanego w dniach 3-5 września br. w Bytomiu.
